ARTS 113 - Introduction to Painting

In this course students will develop an understanding of the medium of paint and its manipulation to achieve descriptive results through a directed series of problems. Emphasis is on the act of painting and exploration of different processes and techniques, to include but not limited to, oil, acrylic, and watercolor. Six-hour studio plus outside assignments.

Prerequisite(s): ARTS 020 or ARTS 111
