EDUC 670 - Internship in School Counseling

 This course provides students with an opportunity to apply counseling knowledge and skills in K-12 school settings. Students will complete internship hours in elementary or middle/secondary school settings under the supervision of a practicing professional school counselor and in consultation with a School Counseling faculty member. Certificate students must take three semester hours and complete 300 hours of field placement. MEd students must take six semester hours and complete 600 hours of field placement. Prerequisite: Practicum in School Counseling (or other counseling specialty).
