PSYC 120 - Drugs and Behavior

This course provides an overview of the scientific study of addiction, with a specific focus on psychoactive substances. Topics will include models of addiction, epidemiology and psychological and physiological effects of stimulants, depressants, opioids, hallucinogens, and intervention and treatment. Prerequisite: PSYC 010 or BIOL 065 or BIOL 010 or BIOL 100.
