EDUC 392 - Field Experience/Practicum

For this one-credit hour course, students will be assigned a field placement where they will go for two hours per week to conduct field experience assignments for all of their Education courses. Field experiences are a North Carolina legislative requirement for Educator Preparation Programs; this class will allow students to engage in meaningful experiences in schools that connect their coursework to practical applications. Students will take this course each semester that they are in the Teacher Licensure courses and before Student Teaching.

Prerequisite(s): Students must be admitted into the Teacher Licensure program.
Corequisite(s): Education and Teacher Licensure courses are corequisites for this course each semester.
