EDUC 673 - Creating a Culture of School Success

This course will help future school leaders understand the dynamics of school culture, common barriers to creating positive working and learning environments, and productive strategies to effect positive change. Exemplars of healthy organizational structures and organizational effectiveness will be examined, including the Professional Learning Community (PLC) and other school workgroup structures. Coursework will include examinations of behavioral/social psychological and historical school practices. (Clinical experiences in school and district settings required.)
