Modern biochemistry with emphasis on structures, functions, and properties of biologically important molecules such as proteins and nucleic acids. Additionally, signal transduction and basic neurochemistry will be introduced. Three hours of lecture.

Prerequisite(s): CHEM 202 and BIOL 100
