BCHM 270 - Internship in Biochemistry

An opportunity to use the knowledge and skills the student has learned in coursework to solve problems in an applied laboratory setting; the apprenticeship aspect of the internship implies that the student has some basic knowledge and will increase her knowledge and skills by direct contact with an experienced, knowledgeable mentor. Open to juniors and seniors with 2.0 overall cumulative average and in the major; maximum credit per term is four (4) semester hours; admission by application only. Course may be repeated a maximum of three (3) times.
