BIOL 240 - Research Methods in Biology with Lab

This course is designed to teach students how to carry out properly the scientific method in terms of designing, executing, and evaluating a plan of action in scientific research. Methodologies utilized in the course will come from a broad range of disciplines within the biological and environmental sciences. Students will also learn to analyze, critique, and present properly the data they generate. Communication intensive. These topics will be covered in weekly lectures and one or more lab periods.
