MUSI 130 - Introduction to Musical Styles

This course presents an overview of the history of western art music, from the music of Ancient Greece to the living art of composers today. It is designed for students with little or no background in music who would like to develop a better understanding of differences in musical styles as well as an appreciation of the musical arts and the composers and compositions that have shaped the world today. Open to non-majors.
