NFPM 180 - Volunteer and Community Engagement

This course is designed to introduce students to the principles and practices of volunteer andcommunity engagement in the nonprofit sector. Students will explore emerging trends in volunteerism and specific strategies for creating more equitable and inclusive volunteer programs. Through experiential activities in the classroom and the broader community, this course prepares students to serve as successful volunteer program leaders and managers in nonprofit organizations, as well as help them become more engaged and effective volunteers themselves.
