POLI 230 - State and Local Government

This course analyzes the challenges faced by state and local communities with particular emphasis placed on the problems of urban areas, including education, crime, poverty, economic development, housing and transportation. The course examines the roles of citizens, non-profits and government agencies at all levels in accomplishing change through state and local policy outcomes.
