4 Hour(s)

An introduction to the scientific methods researchers used to study humans, emphasizing critical thinking about observational studies, surveys, and experiments. This course will include training in the ethical guidelines for conducting research with human participants, how to conduct literature searches and read empirical research reports, and how to interpret descriptive statistics and “statistical significance”.
