PUBH 260 - Intoduction to Global Health

This course will examine public health issues and challenges at the global level, including disease burden and health systems. Students will explore these issues through the lens of globalization and the exploration of diverse cultural differences and norms. Linkages among health, global development, and social, political, and economic determinants of health and their impact on health inequalities will guide the discussions in this course.
