SCIE 030 - Special Topic Science w Lab

An investigation of a topic of importance in contemporary science. The specific course content and methods of study will vary in response to recent developments in the Natural Sciences to meet the current needs of students in the General Education Program. The topic will be announced prior to pre-registration. All courses must be approved by the department chairs in the Division of Natural Science and Mathematics and all courses will involve the study of scientific inquiry and critical analysis. One 2-3 hour laboratory or field experience included.
