BIOL 223 - Toxicology

This course will cover the principles of the impact of environmental contaminants on human health. Topics covered in the course will include historical roots of toxicology, physiological impacts of toxins on biological and ecological systems including absorption, distribution, elimination and biotransformation, and the application of toxicology to public health.

Prerequisite(s): BIOL 100 or CHEM 110
