HSCI 270 - Internship in Health Science

This course serves as the bridge between the academic and professional practice of health science. Students apply the knowledge gained in the classroom to a field experience in a health setting of their choice. In addition, students gain new knowledge, practice their skills, and identify areas for professional growth and development. A minimum of 30 hours in the field are required per semester hour awarded. Open to sophomores, juniors and seniors with at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA; the maximum in any term is five semester hours; admission by application only.
