The Bachelor of Arts in Health Science provides students with a foundation of scientific knowledge commonly required for post-graduate training in such areas as physical therapy and occupational therapy, and with an interdisciplinary perspective on health science issues. The BA requires 70 to 77 hours of coursework, of which 48 to 54 hours are in the science, mathematics and data interpretation core and the advanced science courses.Students are expected to take HSCI 070 . Introduction to Healthcare Career Exploration and consult with their adviser before choosing elective courses, as specific career plans will shape which courses would be most beneficial or required as graduate program prerequisites.
